The role
We strongly believe in the natural benefits of goat milk and under the CBM brand, we offer a comprehensive range of goat milk ingredients in the business-to-business market. Managed by the Ausnutria Dairy Ingredients B.V., this dynamic business is growing rapidly. Many full trucks and containers with products such as goat milk powder, butter, cream and protein powders are sold and hipped all over the world by a small and young team, which is based in the Netherlands. In order to do right to potential of extra goat milk dairy sales in the Middle East, Ausnutria Dairy Ingredients (ADI) is now looking for a strong candidate, to be based in Dubai, to develop and increase the ingredients sales in the Middle East.
Ausnutria is the world’s leading company in goat milk based Infant Formula and goat milk ingredients. With over 100 years of experience in the dairy industry it is still a modern company which has brought goat milk products to many millions of consumers all over the world. Based in the Netherlands with a team of nearly 1000 professionals, we operate from our Dutch headquarters and five production sites. We are proudly serving both consumer and corporate global markets with high-quality infant formula and various other dairy products.
The position
The ideal person for this position has a back ground in dairy and a track record in establishing new business in the Middle East. Starting from scratch, you are excited to explore the markets, approach leads and built new strong client relations. You explain potential customers the benefits of our goat milk ingredients, you will be their contact person and will support them to start goat milk based concepts. Also you will analyze the market, identify opportunities and developments and become our goat milk ingredients expert for the region. After developing a strategic plan you will start the execution eagerly while keeping the ADI team in the Netherlands informed. The team will offer support and has experience in participating at trade shows in the Middle East. Although you will report to the ADI team in the Netherlands, we do have a new and modern office available in Dubai, where you could work right next to Ausnutria’s Middle East Infant Formula team.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate, strongly driven to grow our sales in the Middle East to a serious quantities, with the potential of building a regional hub. You are a self-starter who is perfectly fine working independently. Concise reporting is key, considering the physical distance to the rest of the Dutch based Ingredients sales team. Logically, occasional trips to the Netherlands as well as traveling in the Middle East are part of the job. These trips, just like trade show participation, give you energy and inspire you. You see opportunities and know how turn them into new business. Basic qualifications are:
– Proven track record in business development;
– Over 4 years experience in dairy or (food)retail;
– Fluent in English and Arabic;
– Academic thinking and working level;
– Relevant network to kick start new business;
– You display attention to details, are able to present and report well with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
